Kobey is the owner and vermouth maker for Vermont Vermouth. He has been a flavor enthusiast his entire life, from cooking and baking, to making homemade spice blends and brewing beer. After leaving academia (Kobey has a Ph.D. in linguistics), he decided to pursue his passion for fermentation and flavor through making vermouth. When not at work, Kobey can be found teaching Yongmudo, a self-defense martial art.
